Question 1

What is Star Of Me?

Accepted Answer

Star Of Me is a free, non-profit project where you "fly a star" into deep space: write a person's name and describe them, and an AI plays that person so you can chat with it.

Question 2

Who can talk with a star?

Accepted Answer

The creator can always talk with their own star. Active stars are open to everyone — guests get a few free messages per day, and registered users get a larger daily quota. Silent stars are only open to their creator.

Question 3

Where are my chats stored?

Accepted Answer

Chat history lives only in your own browser (localStorage). Our servers store none of your conversations, and clearing your browser data erases the history.

Question 4

How do I create my own star?

Accepted Answer

Click anywhere on the gate page, register a free account, then fly a star: give a person's name and a detailed self-description. The star starts silent — you can make it active at any time.
